Picnic Table Sets For Different Lifestyles

A picnic table set can be a great investment for anyone who has the desire to move their dining room environment to the great outdoors. Just like any family or business, picnic table sets are very diverse and can be purchased to meet your different needs.

The first thing to look for when purchasing any picnic table set is the seating. They come with either attached or separate benches to sit on. Separate benches are beneficial because they are more adjustable to ensure the comfort of everyone at the table by allowing the individual to choose how far they can sit from the table. Extra seating is also easier with separate benches but must be purchased separately most of the time. Unattached benches would be the best idea for a family because it caters to the needs of each individual who will be sitting there.

Picnic table sets are also valuable investments for businesses with outdoor dining and seating. Metal or aluminum picnic table sets are the most efficient for long-term use in the outdoors and usually come in a variety of colors. Concrete sets are reinforced with steel and can also be a very valuable investment. Because concrete is very heavy and durable, they are usually the most expensive but they are also the most theft-proof of all the sets available. Metal, aluminum and concrete picnic table sets are pretty easy to care for with very little maintenance required. Any outdoor, commercially used picnic table should have an umbrella hole in the center to provide your patrons with comfort and block from sun or potential rain.

Picnic Table Sets For Different Lifestyles

Wooden picnic table sets are the most standard type for families and can be a great investment for family parties or outdoor barbeques. Most come in red or white cedar wood which will not decay or rot over long exposure to rain or sunlight.

For a family with small children, specially made children's sets can be purchased as well. These can be purchased for any young age and often come with designs or games printed on the table top. Many also include small umbrellas to protect their skin from the sun.

Families or groups who enjoy travelling or camping, foldable picnic tables are available. These are very easy to transport and assemble and come in either metal and/or plastic designs. They can also be purchased with either attached or separate benches.

Sets can also be purchased especially for a family with a member who is handicapped with a wheelchair and can be found in just about any material from concrete, metal or wood. These include any shape or design from rectangular, round or octagonal. Most rectangular sets have an extended table top at the end to fit a wheelchair or extra seat. The round or octagonal shaped tables leave one side of benches out to fit a wheelchair in the spot.

Some individuals like a classier look, even when it comes to picnic tables. Glass-top sets may also be purchased for indoor or outdoor use and the glass tops are usually placed atop a wicker or wrought iron frame. These require much more care and polishing but can be a beautiful addition to a home.

Picnic table sets can be purchased for any lifestyle and can be as diverse as each individual who will occupy them.

Square Picnic Table Plans - Planning a Square Table For Your Outdoor Enjoyment

A square picnic table can add value and class to your outdoor area. You can enjoy grilling out and eating with your family in your own backyard. You can have people over to hang out. And if you make your own table, you can even save hundreds over what you'd pay in the store, as well as get exactly what you want.

A square table is an attractive design that is easy to make. It doesn't require as much measuring and cutting as a round or octagonal table. It's a little smaller than a rectangular table, so you won't be able to seat as many people. However, with the right square picnic table plans, you can easily make a table that will last for years to come.

Table Set

Before you start your table, you need to decide on what sort of wood you want to use. The cheapest type is pine; however, this tends to break down the quickest. For a more quality finish, I would suggest using either redwood or cedar. Both are more expensive, but they contain natural oils that enable them to keep their shape and color outdoors for years.

Square Picnic Table Plans - Planning a Square Table For Your Outdoor Enjoyment

Next, you need to decide what sort of features you want for your table. Do you want an umbrella in the middle? Would you like traditional chairs or benches? Do you need your table to be adjustable? One of the advantages of a square table is that it's easy to make into an adjustable or folding table, which will enable you to take it on the go. If you have a small outdoor area, this can be a bonus space saver.

After you know what you are planning to make, you can then choose the right plans for the job. Choose plans that match your skill level. I've found it best to get plans that don't use a lot of woodworking terminology and explain everything in both words and pictures. Of course, it helps to get plans that were written by someone who speaks English as their native language.

I would also suggest you get a set of plans that cover a variety of projects instead of just one plan for a specific table. It works out to be much less expensive to purchase plans this way. Also, if your wife decides she wants something different, you'll already have the plans available for it. If you can find a set that has more than just picnic tables, you'll be able to use them for just about any project you can think of. And just think, if you get good enough at woodworking, you might be able to start your own business on the side!

Square Picnic Table Plans - Planning a Square Table For Your Outdoor Enjoyment

The best square picnic table plans I've found are at http://www.woodworkingdesigns.info. They offer many easy to follow plans for picnic tables, as well as plans for just about any other project you can think of. They also give you a lot of advice in how to actually do the project. It's really a must have for project and gift ideas.

Unique Ways to Construct a Model Train Table - Some Alternate Solutions to Expensive Benchwork

So you have really gotten into this model train hobby and have spent hundreds of dollars on a cool track, exciting scenery, and a locomotive and rolling stock so real, the kids are trying to get aboard, but your wife wants the dining room table back. What do you do? Well you build a model train table of course. But what if you are not a carpenter or don't have any close friends or relatives who are? This article will give you some options.

The first option is having no table at all. In other words, put your layout on the floor. If you do this, there are a couple of precautions you will want to take. First, you do not want to put your layout directly on a carpet. There are a couple of reasons for this. First, most carpet will release fibers that will get caught in your track and trains and could potentially get tangled in the moving parts. Second, static electricity can be generated by walking or crawling on the carpet, and it will be discharged, giving you that annoying shock, when you touch the track. If you have nothing but carpet, consider putting down a base of particle board, plywood or some other non-conducting material under your layout. One other thing about putting your layout on the floor, if you are like me (getting up in years), crawling around on your hands and knees will take its toll on your body and you will probably be able to spend less time on your hobby.

Another option if you don't want to build your own model train table is to use folding tables. These are quick, can be moved with your layout, and they are relatively inexpensive. There are downsides to folding tables as well. First, they are not as stable as a table you might build yourself. Secondly, there are only certain specific sizes of folding tables available and those sizes may or may not be amenable to the size of your layout.

Unique Ways to Construct a Model Train Table - Some Alternate Solutions to Expensive Benchwork

A quick and easy way to set up a model train table is to get some sawhorses which are readily available in your local home improvement store. These can come already assembled, or you can purchase just the brackets and add your own two-by-four legs so that you can decide what height you want. The sawhorses become the legs of your table. The table top can be constructed of a smooth door (the hollow ones are cheaper and lighter), some ½ inch plywood or particle board, or even some 1 inch lumber (10 or 12 inches wide) glued or nailed together. The advantages of this approach are that it is inexpensive, can be more customized than folding tables, is quick to assemble, and it's portable. Disadvantages include some instability, and aesthetics.

A model train table (also known as benchwork) is an essential element of your train layout. But you probably did not get into model railroading because you love carpentry. While custom or purchased benchwork specifically made for model trains may be the best solution, it is certainly not the only solution. Try one of the methods above if you want a quick, inexpensive workable solution.

How to Roast a Boneless Pork Loin

There are several ways on how to cook boneless pork loin. The most delicious and popular way is to roast. Several methods are available to know how to roast loin. Whichever method is chosen, the roasted boneless pork is an all-time favorite dish.

Here are the ingredients needed to start roasting boneless pork loin:

1. A chunk of boneless loin cut. A pound of pork is usually cooked for 30 to 45 minutes. The quantity of seasonings and spices is for a two-pound pork loin cut.

How to Roast a Boneless Pork Loin

2. Seasoning and/or spices of choice. For this recipe, one tablespoon each of sage, oregano and thyme will be mixed together.

3. One teaspoon of salt.

4. One-fourth teaspoon ground black pepper.

5. One teaspoon olive

Also, make sure that the following equipments are available:

1. Cooking oven

2. A roasting pan. It is better if the pan has a rack.

3. Aluminum tin foil that would be used to to cover the roasted boneless pork loin.

4. Meat thermometer.

5. Knives with sharp blade for cutting the roast.

6. A chopping or cutting board.

Now here's the step by step instruction on how to roast a boneless pork loin:
1. Select the best pork loin cut in the market. In order to select the best, get a pork cut that is easy to separate into slices. Get a loin that is coated of fat. The pork roast must be from the pork's "center cut." It is this fatty layer which will keep the moisture intact while the pork is roasting. The result will be a juicy roasted boneless pork loin.

2. Make sure that the oven is clean. Before seasoning the pork loin, pre-heat the oven. So when you will need to roast the pork, the oven is already in the necessary temperature. If the pork cut is raw, the right oven temperature should be 500. If the pork cut is already pre-browned, keep the heat at 375.

3. Now, turn the attention to the pork loin cut. Using a skewer, prick the pork cut all over. This helps the meat to absorb well the spices' flavors. Salt, pepper, sage, oregano, thyme and olive oil are blended together. The mixture is rubbed around the pork cut. After this, put the pork cut in the roasting pan. The pork cut's side with the layer of fat should be facing upward. Place the pan in the center of the pre-heated oven.

4. Continue with the baking. The temperature can be lowered to 300 after ten minutes. The roasted boneless pork loin should be cooked after an hour. Still, keep it in the oven and remove only when the temperature is down to 155. To know if the roast pork is cooked, get a knife and cut it. A translucent or pink meat means the roast is already done.

5. Baste the drippings in the roasted pork while it is in the oven. This makes sure that the flavor is absorbed.

6. Get the roasted boneless pork cut ready to be served. Set it in the cutting board. Cover it with an aluminum tin foil for 15 minutes. Then, start slicing it.

Pork is famous for having a lot of fat but its much way better than beef which has higher fat content. Roasted boneless pork is tasty and can also be served in the table all-year round and at any occasion. So, it's a good thing that one knows how to roast a boneless pork.

Versatile Kitchen Table and Chair Sets For Your Home

For centuries now, homeowners, from those in tiny apartments to expansive castles in the countryside, have had to figure out how to scale their kitchen and chair sets to address their many needs. One day it may just be a cozy dinner for two, the next, a holiday party for 8, 10 or even 12.

That's one of the reasons why drop leaf tables were first developed. Even kitchen and chair sets from the Elizabethan era in the 16th century had drop leafs, just in case there was an impromptu feast for knights dropping by the castle one night. Most of these were made of oak and could almost double in size, quite the feat, given the tools and design concepts they had to work with.

Table Set

Today, drop leaf kitchen tables are engineering marvels, allowing you to expand or contract the table to meet your needs within minutes.

Versatile Kitchen Table and Chair Sets For Your Home

In small apartments drop leaf kitchen table and chair sets can be a real lifesaver. If you get models with a side drop leaf, you can scoot the table right up against the wall and only pull it out when you need additional seating. You can also get models that have a storage space below that holds two matching folding chairs - the perfect space saving solution.

Many of these styles of kitchen table and chair sets are gate leg designs. This is where an additional set of legs swings out from the base to support the side leafs. This is a much sturdier table than the ones that have slender boards that can be pulled out to hold up the leaf.

Many homeowners like these kitchen and chair sets as gaming tables. When not in use, they can be used in the living room as a side table, resting against a wall with the one or even both leafs dropped.

If you gravitate toward antiques you may want to consider the butterfly table. These have leafs in the shape of wings that pivot out from the stretchers. There's also swing leg tables, which were popular in the mid 18th century, but they aren't as sturdy as the butterfly or gate leg varieties. Finally, you can perhaps get a gaming table with a flip top to use as your kitchen table and chair sets. These have matching solid wood tops on a hinge, one side of the table resting on and mirroring the other side when the table is closed.

Most homeowners appreciate the more modern designs, the ones with one or more removable leafs. These are the easiest to find and most people love the flexibility of the design, allowing them to add more leafs to accommodate more guests. Some tables have three or four leafs, allowing you to seat quite a few guests.

If you do get kitchen table and chair sets with removable leafs, take great care in protecting the table. Try to keep it out of direct sunlight as much as possible, otherwise the finish will fade more than the leafs, making the holiday table look a little less festive, due to the two shades of wood, stain or finish. To protect the leafs from damage when not in use, it's highly recommended that you purchase leaf bags to keep them from becoming scratched while they are in storage.

If you want to keep your leafs handy or don't have room to store them, you can opt for innovative kitchen table and chair sets that have the leafs stored inside. These can either be stored in hidden drawers under the tabletop or the built in leafs can extend from one or both of the table ends to extend the table quickly and easily. There are even some finely engineered glass kitchen table and chair sets that can expand to accommodate more guests.

Guide to HO Scale Model Railroad Trains 4 x 8 Foot Benchwork

Building bench-work for the first time for your model railroad is an exciting moment! To create a good first layout for HO scale model trains, a great way to start is with a basic plan for 4 x 8 foot bench-work. You are essentially building a table from a piece of plywood and will construct your exciting new layout on that. Below are some instructions for building a good, solid bench-work for your layout, starting with a materials list and moving into instructions.

The materials you will use include the following:

1 4 x 8 sheet of plywood (a good size for HO scale model trains; use 5/8 inch B-C grade plywood)
3 1x4 x8' (for edge supports)
4 1x4 x8' ripped into 1x2 stock (for 5 joists, plus bracing)
1 1x4 x10' ripped into 1x2 stock (for bracing between legs)
1 2x4 x8' ripped into 2x2 stock (this is for the table legs and is enough for a max height of 48 in)
1 box (100) 1-3/4" dry wall screws (will use 72 of these)
8 1/4x3" carriage bolts (for bolting on the table legs)
8 ¼" washers (for table legs)
8 ¼-20 nuts (for table legs)
1 pint yellow carpenter's glue (not white, use yellow since it is waterproof)

Guide to HO Scale Model Railroad Trains 4 x 8 Foot Benchwork

The tools you will use include the following:

2 saw horses (optional)
1 saw (Almost anything will work - a saber saw or "Skil" saw or table saw or hand cross-cut saw. If buying a first saw, a saber saw will probably be most useful in future model railroad endeavors.)
1 3/8" reversible electric drill
1 bit to fit drywall screws
1 5/16" drill bit (for carriage bolts)
1 1/8" drill bit for pilot holes
1 adjustable crescent wrench or open or closed end wrench to fit nuts
1 carpenter's square

You'll start with the tabletop, a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood. This is a good size for HO scale model trains, because it allows space for a track layout a bit more interesting than a mere oval or circle. You only need one good side on the plywood, and while that does need to be fairly smooth, it doesn't have to be grade-A perfect, since you'll be covering it up with track, accessories, scenery and other details. So go with the B grade for the good side, it's less expensive than A.

This large sheet of plywood is rather floppy on its own, so it needs support to stiffen it before you set up a model railroad on it. The first step is a frame around the outer edge. Build the frame first, and then screw the plywood to it. Take two 8 foot lengths of 1x4 and two 3' 10-1/2" lengths. You will want to screw and glue them together, because nails tend to work themselves loose with the vibrations of the model railroad and the occasional jostling of the table.

Prepare the end of an 8' side piece by drilling two pilot holes where screws will go into the shorter end pieces. Don't make the holes too big. They should be just large enough to pass each screw. Prepare the end of one of the 3' 10-1/2" end pieces by rubbing yellow carpenter's glue into the end grain until it's fairly well-saturated. Then run an additional bead of glue along it. Press onto end of 8' piece and screw together using pilot holes. Repeat at each of the four corners. Allow to dry.

Now, take the sheet of plywood and screw it onto the frame, good side up (B side up, C side should be touching the frame). Do not glue the plywood to the frame, as you may need to remove it from the frame later to build a lake or adjust the levels of your track.

You can drill this together in two ways; you can use a "pilot drill" and No 8 x 1-3/4 in flathead wood screws. Or you can use drywall screws with regular drill and drywall screw bit. With drywall screws, they are self-tapping, meaning you will not need to predrill any holes except if you are at the end of a piece of lumber and trying to avoid splitting.

Now the plywood has been stiffened on the edges and you are ready to add joists to firm up the middle. Turn the apparatus over so it is frame-side up. Take five 1 x2's the same length as the short end pieces (3' 10-1/2") and screw them at intervals to the side pieces of the frame in such a way that they bear up against the plywood. Do not screw them to the plywood tabletop.

Now you are ready for the legs and bracing. You need to decide on the height you want your layout to be, whatever seems appropriate for HO scale model trains. For ease of viewing those lifelike details on the model railroad, it's common to make the display height fairly tall, just below eye level. I've seen recommendations ranging from 42 to 56 inches. (For comparison, most writing desks or dining tables are around 28 to 31 inches.) If your viewing audience includes children, consider a lower height, such as 30 inches. Also consider ease of working on the center part of the scenery and track.

Cut four 2 x 2's to your chosen height. Contrary to what you might think, the legs should not be mounted at the corners of the plywood. You will have a much sturdier table with less flex in the middle if you mount the legs 20% inward on each end. For an 8 foot long table, this means mounting the legs 19" from each end, measured along the long side.

Turn the table upside down (frame side up). Drill one 5/16" hole all the way through the side piece of the frame and into a leg. Leg should be flush with the plywood, and hole should be about ¾ to 1" up from the plywood. Stick a carriage bolt through from the frame side. Using fingers, tighten down a washer and nut onto the inside of the leg where the carriage bolt is sticking out. Now check that the leg is at right angles, using a carpenter's square and carefully drill a second hole to keep it there.

The second hole should be ¾ to 1" from the other edge of the frame (the edge temporarily facing up) and you will add another bolt-washer-nut. Now use a wrench to tighten both nuts down solidly. Repeat the process for the other three legs. You really want to be sure to use the square to measure in both plains that all four legs are perpendicular.

Now you could stop here, but even so the table would be a bit wobbly, and you don't want that when you are setting up your model railroad. For maximum stability, you will need to install additional bracing. At each of the shorter ends, use "X" bracing. Take two 1 x 2's and fasten them as close to the floor as possible on one end and as close to the table as possible at the other (this makes four braces in all).

Then you will want to install double bracing on the long sides. Attach a 1 x 2 as close to the floor as possible and run it to the other end of the table. Attach another 1 x 2 as close to the floor as possible and attach it to a point towards the middle of the table (this makes eight braces in all). This bracing may seem unsightly, but it is worth it. You can hang cloth curtains from the edge of the finished table to hide it, if you like.

Finally, if your floor is not level and even, you can make the legs adjustable. Drill a 5/16" pilot hole into the bottom (the end) of each leg in the center. Hammer in a ¼" T-nut. Now thread on a ¾" bolt. This makes each leg independently adjustable to compensate for the unevenness in the floor.

Congratulations! The fine new bench-work for your model railroad is now complete! Turn the table over and you have a solid and sturdy platform on which to enjoy constructing your new layout for HO scale model trains.

Africa's Endangered Wildlife Species

Africa's dazzling natural beauty has lured millions of people across the globe to its shores and captured the hearts of everyone that has visited. It is home to thousands of animal species but no thanks to habitat destruction, poaching and the thriving fur, trade Africa's wildlife are slowly but most definitely becoming extinct.

Scientists believe that the figures regarding endangered animals will increase dramatically in the next twenty years. This means that the next generation and those to follow, will not be fortunate enough to see critically endangered animals like the tiger and the black rhino in the flesh, because our animal species are all dying out at a rapid speed.

Every animal has a certain, niche environment in which they co-exist with a healthy and balanced ecosystem. If the balance between predator and prey is not in proportion, then populations may either diminish or expand. This factor will sometimes lead to premature extinction of a certain animal species. It has been proven that habitat destruction is the most important factor that is causing the extinction of many animal species. Without a decent, flourishing environment to live in animal life cannot exist.

Africa's Endangered Wildlife Species

With thousands of Africa's wildlife just vanishing off the face of the earth each year, we have compiled a list of the most endangered animals in Africa and where you can still go to see them in their natural habitats:

The Black Rhino

The black rhino is the most endangered animal in Africa and is ranked "critically endangered" due to extreme hunting and poaching due to the extreme demand for rhino horn in the world. At the moment there are quite a few Game Reserves that are still dedicated to saving the black rhino and although the numbers are falling fast, they are still there. Game Reserves in the KwaZulu Natal and Swaziland region, the Masai Mara Reserves and Kenya's Amboseli are the only places that you will have a good chance of spotting a black rhino. If some methods aren't taken into action to save the black rhino then Africa would be forced to remove this animal from The Big Five, as it will no longer exist anywhere in the world.

The African Elephant

The African elephant is another member of The Big Five that is slowly dying out. But even though endangered, there are some African parks where there is an influx of elephants and their numbers sometimes need to be controlled. Elephants can weigh over six tonnes and eat about 250kg a day, which results in extreme pressure on their environment. They are smart animals and are able to communicate with each other using sounds that humans cannot hear. You can see the African elephant in most game parks in South Africa.

The Mountain Zebra

Today the zebra is only found in a few Game Reserves; the Kruger National Park is where most people go to see the zebra. Other kinds of zebra like the Burchell's zebra and the Greyy zebra are more common and are found all over Southern Africa; you can distinguish the Mountain zebra from the res by their lack of "shadow stripes," which are faint stripes that run in between the black stripes, and their grid-like striped pattern just above their tails. The Mountain zebra gets along well with the wildebeest, elephant and impala and often mix with these species in Game Reserves.

The Cheetah

The Cheetah is renowned in the rest of the world as the fastest animal on earth, exceeding speeds of over 100 km/h. These endangered big cats can only be seen at the Kruger National Park in South Africa and at Etosha in Namibia to name but two. They are not very big animals and their sleek, slender build makes them easy to tell apart from a leopard. Because of the cheetah being a relatively small cat in comparison to other wild cats, their young are often preyed on by other big felines, and they are usually shot by farmers who fear for their livestock. Their petite body mass also counts against them as they have to compete with other predators for sustenance and these factors all play a role in the battling survival of the cheetah.

Chimpanzees

These cute primates live in groups of 120 and are not as critically endangered but their numbers are dwindling as a result of poaching and their natural habitat being threatened by deforestation. Chimpanzees live off mostly fruit and plants, and they find comfort in the shady areas of forests. With the increase of wildfires each year and the cutting down of trees for artificial purposes, the chimpanzees legacy is at stake. There are still a few chimps in Western Tanzania in Game Parks like Mahale Mountains National Park where you are able to see them in their natural habitat.

One other critically endangered animal is the Tiger. There are only 200 of them left in South Africa and that's only in captivity. They have completely died out in the wild and Game Reserves are battling to keep them alive and thriving but 200 is too small a number to be able to save the tiger from dying out. The harsh reality is that the next generation and generations after that will not be able to see a real tiger in its natural habitat. There are a few Game Reserves in Southern Africa that you can visit to see the big cats, so don't surpass this opportunity. Spend time with the endangered species of Africa, it might just be your last chance to see these beautiful creatures in alive and breathing and it will definitely be a memory you'd want to cherish forever.

The Asian Tiger

One other critically endangered animal is the Tiger. Although not a native African animal, much has been done in Africa, specifically South Africa to help prevent the downfall of this beautiful animal. There are only 200 Tigers in South Africa, all in captivity and Game Reserves are battling to keep them alive and thriving. But this is too small a number to be able to save them entirely from dying out.

The harsh reality is that the next generation and generations after that will not be able to see a real tiger in its natural habitat. So don't surpass this opportunity to visit one of these big cats while we still can. Spend time with the endangered species of Africa, it might just be your last chance to see these beautiful creatures alive and breathing and it will definitely be a memory you'd want to cherish forever.

Sexual Styles Inside and Outside the Bedroom

Knowing your unique needs and the needs of your sexual partner can be very enlightening. See if you can find a little bit or a lot of yourself in each of these characters - and I am sure you will recognize an ex or a present partner in one or many of these characters. This is not about accusations and excuses but rather the realities necessary to understand the developing self and current struggles. The important thing when looking at these sexual styles is not to try to figure out which sexual type you or someone is but rather to use this knowledge to improve your sexual relationships. Pay attention to how your own sexual style and behaviour makes your partner feel about themselves and the relationship because your sexual style may be hurting your relationships..

1. The Sexual Traffic Cop

Outside the bedroom: The Sexual Traffic Cop is what we would call a typical control freak. They often feel that they were put on this earth to "put others in their place" and feel obligated to tell others what is 'right' and what is "wrong". They tend to think their views, their families, relationships or career are what everyone should emulate and do not hesitate flaunting them in public for everyone to copy. They are often critical and demanding, always giving orders and making up rules. They can be very picky, impatient and judgmental; constantly giving advice, correcting or "mothering" others.

Sexual Styles Inside and Outside the Bedroom

Inside the bedroom: When you have sex with a Sexual Traffic Cop, you will get so many directions and instructions on what he/she likes and doesn't like. They will tell you how you should feel and respond and they may demonstrate to you how they want you to do it to them and ask you to do exactly the way they do it. You make one "wrong" move and he/she just stops and refuses to continue. The worst part is that there are so many instructions that you never seem to remember what they like or don't like. You feel pressured, controlled and inadequate every time.

2. The Sexual Beast

Outside the bedroom: The Sexual Beast usually talks loudly - and dirty. They are the sort of people who are all over the place and are either disillusioned that others really like them or do not care if they are liked or not. They have a strong need to dominate others and to be in charge of things. They may appear very controlled but are cynical and temperamental, and easily explode into anger when their authority or intelligence is challenged. They can be very vindictive and manipulative. They aren't necessarily angry at the opposite sex it's just that they confuse aggression and chaos with passion and spontaneity.

Inside the bedroom: When you have sex with a Sexual Beast, you are not sure whether you are being loved or devoured. His/her panting, grabbing, slapping, scratching, biting, pushing, pulling and bestial noises or "dirty talk" reduces the sex act to its very basic crude level. You are left frightened, distrustful, unsatisfied and angry but not sure why.

3. The Sexual Martyr

Outside the bedroom: The Sexual Martyr lives with a victim mentality. They are always telling "poor me" stories, blaming others for everything that has happened to them. They don't believe they are lovable or worthwhile and find it difficult to express their needs or ask for what they want. They've never had satisfying experiences and feel used and taken advantage of all the time.

Inside the bedroom: When you have sex with a Sexual Martyr you sense that "something" in not right but however much you ask, he/she will never tell. The only way they try to let you know what is happening is when you try to be intimate their first reaction is to move away a little or just lie there motionless. You sort of start getting resentful because you can't read his/her mind and you feel guilty for not being able to figure out what is really going on.

4. The Sexual Procrastinator

Outside the bedroom: The Sexual Procrastinator avoids doing things he/she needs to do or deal with and hates being told what to do. They ask for advice, make goals and promises but never actually get to carry them out. They are usually very rational and reasonable and take themselves seriously. They can be very talkative, impressionable, sensitive and warm but feel uncomfortable about getting close to other people and often avoid these situations.

Inside the bedroom: If you ever get to have sex with a Sexual Procrastinator consider yourself one of the most patient people on earth because by the time you get to actually have sex with this character, you'll have heard all kinds of logical explanations as to how the mood, timing and the place is just not right. But even during sex, they will find little problems to interrupt or force you to stop. You are left feeling controlled, neglected, desperate and angry.

5. The Sexual Glutton

Outside the bedroom: The Sexual Glutton is a professional at enjoying him/herself. Sexual Gluttons have low tolerance to pain or suffering and are often prone to addictive behaviours. They usually seek out adult toys to play with and when they find something that gives them pleasure; food, alcohol, drugs etc. they get completely lost in sensation oblivious of the people and everything around them.

Inside the bedroom: When you have sex with a Sexual Glutton you get the feeling you are just a toy for their pleasure. If you try to change what you are doing to give them pleasure, they motion for you to keep going, paying no attention whatsoever to your feelings. While you feel "high and dry" he/she is in his/her pleasure world. You are left feeling left out, unimportant, unloved and angry at being used.

6. The Sexual Performer

Outside the bedroom: The Sexual Performer is wildly enthusiastic about everything. Everything and everyone is always fantastic, wonderful, amazing, fabulous, great, brilliant etc. When you meet this character you are almost sure he/she is the most passionate person you've ever met, yet you get a feeling that there is something not quite right about his/her passion - you're probably right. Sexual Performers are people who want to get close to others, but tend to be so anxious about intimacy that they often scare others away.

Inside the bedroom: When you have sex with a Sexual Performer you get the feeling they are putting on a show; they make a lot of noise and they will do this and do that, frequently changing positions and telling you over and over how fabulous it is. They'll even insist sex is better in front of a mirror because they want to watch themselves perform. Their "pleasure" seems so exaggerated that you are not sure whether it is sex or their performance that they like so much. You are left feeling used, mistrustful and even resentful.

7. The Sexual Idealist

Outside the bedroom: The Sexual Idealist is sensitive, powerful and very intelligent. They are usually spiritual and philosophical, and are passionate about the protection of the environment, cruelty against animals and world poverty. They desperately want fairness and goodness for everyone and in everything because their past experiences have been the opposite. They may be children of divorced or emotionally isolated and dissociated parents, were adopted or lived with parents who were kept busy working. Because they have been abandoned again and again they may be deluded that their work, relationships and life are perfect and are afraid to look at life honestly because they fear that their positive outlook may collapse.

Inside the bedroom: When you have sex with a Sexual Idealist be prepared to enjoy it not once but twice: first when you hear the great and wonderful benefits of sex and again after when you hear a recounting of the just concluded magical experience. He/she will tell you how sex with you is much better than all the ones he/she's had all his/her life and what a wonderful lover you are. You find yourself pressured to perform to similar or higher standards, just to keep up. But their "ideal" world leaves you feeling inadequate, not loved for yourself and mistrustful of their claims.

8. The Sexual Pleaser

Outside the bedroom: The Sexual Pleaser is usually sweet, cheerful, enthusiastic and nice to everyone. They have a tendency to confuse love with pity, and a tendency to "love" people they can pity and rescue. They are overly dependent on the approval of members of their family, spouse, friends, colleagues and even strangers. They will go to any lengths and overboard to please and when they do they will stand there silently with a "so?" look on their face. They can easily be manipulated because Sexual Pleasers have a hard time saying "no' to requests outside and inside of the bedroom.

Inside the bedroom: When you have sex with a Sexual Pleaser, you will feel wonderful - at first - because they come across as the super lover. They ask "Do you like this or Am I pleasing you?" They even go to the lengths of apologizing if you say you did not like that. After a while you start feeling selfish and guilty. You sense their desperation and need to please and feel obligated to him/her but at the same time feel controlled by their neediness.

9. The Sexual Corpse

Outside the bedroom: The Sexual Corpse is an expert at repressing his/her feelings. They appear cool, calm and collected on the outside but deep inside they are anxious, worried, and fearful. Many have suffered a lot of hurt, pain, frustration and have been abused as children or by their sexual partners. They often find it difficult to trust others and to self-disclose. They don't easily forgive and never forget. Even if they openly don't say it you get the feeling talking to them that they are so angry at the opposite sex.

Inside the bedroom: When you have sex with a Sexual Corpse, their idea of sex is you playing "sex psychic". They never show emotion or say a word before, during or after sex. Its up to you to guess how they are feeling or if they like sex with you. Its up to you to figure out what they want - or if they even like you. If you ask them if they like something the best they can come up with is 'Its fine". You are left inadequate, frustrated and even angry at them.

10. The Sexual Tease

Outside the bedroom: The Sexual Tease is the kind of man or woman who looks at your partner and makes them wish they were single. They just love to advertise how "super-sexy" they - they dress and walk the part. Their whole idea of life is superficiality - clothes, status etc., and have a habit of name-dropping or mentioning their connections to famous, rich and powerful people. They are very competitive with members of the same sex and are usually very jealous and possessive people. The Sexual Tease also has problems opening up and making commitments to another person.

Inside the bedroom: Forget the bedroom - a Sexual Tease comes on very strong and aggressive, turning you on and driving you crazy with his/her act. But as soon as there is a possibility that sex might actually take place, the sexy, hot and wild image disappears. They start giving excuses or find something else to do - so that they can tease you some more. And if you actually manage to have sex with this character - you will be very disappointed. A Sexual Tease is turned on by the idea of being wild and sexy but not by the actual act of sex itself. You find yourself feeling humiliated, used, manipulated and angry.

Conclusion: I believe that there is no "right" or "wrong" way of making love. Sex is "good" when it makes both of your feel good about yourselves and about the relationship and it is 'bad" when it leaves you unhappy and adds to your negative feelings about yourself, your partner or about relationships. The good news is that there is something you can always do to become the lover you are capable of being (listed on my website are some of the things you can immediately do). The Super Lover is in everyone of us. What you need first and foremost is deep insights into the unique, creative and ultimately mysterious being you are. Second you need an intuitive understanding of the intricate dynamics of man-woman energies. Learning specific techniques is NOT enough, you need to know the interplay between the sexes that is sufficient to evoke a deep connection and smoldering passion.
